10.1-BETA2

Having had downloaded, dd'ed the i386 iso to pendrive, booted it up, I find no wifi (nor firmware) or set up apps within the O/S. Is the intention to not supply & configure wifi now the way ahead for GhostBSD? Wifi set up along with a pre configured desktop were the strong points, & a reason...

All I have found so far is

Re: Two questions about DragonflyBSD and this FreeBSD projec

Eric is a FreeBSD user, & that is why FreeBSD is used as the base system, because he has knowledge of that flavour of BSD, & his main aim was/is to help new users into using FreeBSD, by creating a live installable version.

Re: start up

Always download & use the latest stable versions of software or O/S, unless you have a specific reason to use old stuff.

Re: Installing GhostBSD into a 16 GB USB drive: can't boot

I remember having this sort of problem before, I think you will find that your 16gb drive is trying to boot from/as the second drive, as that is what it was when it was installed. You will need to alter the boot code on the 16gb drive to make it the first drive to boot, use your 4gb drive in live mo...
