Re: How to read system startup message again?

ntp said it has problem resolving freebsd time server 0.freebsd.pool.ntp.org, after the system successfully boot into MATE, I checked with ps aux and still see ntpd running. The problem is it seemed ntp can't set date time. When I switch between Windows and GhostBSD, GhostBSD's date time doesn't ch...

Code: Select all

sudo rc-update delete savecache shutdown
This command worked. But how to rollback it? :)
sudo rc-update add savecache shutdown :-)

Re: Touchscreen on HP Elitebook

I installed the wacom driver to recognize my touchscreen (neither wmt nor webcamd with evdev recognize it). Although it is not necessary to configure a wacom.conf file in the /usr/local/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ directory, I copied the wacom.conf.example file. The xsetwacom list devices command tells me ...

Re: Touchscreen on HP Elitebook

Yeah, that the parts that I will not be useful, I have no experience with that since I do not have any hardware with a touchscreen. you can look at https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/touch-screen-support.71881/ that might give you help where to start. Re: I need a new graphics card

A priori the drivers of recent graphics cards are regularly updated on FreeBSD even in stable version so you can test GhostBSD live at first to see if your card is well recognized.

Touchscreen on HP Elitebook

Hello guys,

To activate my touchscreen on HP Elitebook do I have to use the libinput or the wacom driver ?
Then, after installing the good driver, I guess I have to edit a configuration file in /usr/local/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/ ?

Thanks for advance.

Re: Configuration menu question

I guess you want to talk about the video driver to choose when launching the live image?

Re: GhostBSD 19.10 Now Available

I would have to retry an installation in bios mode last time I did not get to boot on the USB key it only starts in EFI mode.
