You will need to go to the Sound Preferences and set the Sound theme to default.

The detection on GhostBSD is not fully automatic like Ubuntu But with the Printer Setting it should get you going if the proper driver are installed.

I you want it to show in the Desktop directory, you can create /media/share-name and mount it in /media/share-name.
