Tried GhostBSD iso 20.02 as live cd
I started live CD on my PC. But Firefox and terminal didn't get started. After click on Firefox it seems to start, but after some seconds the spinning mouse pointer disappears again and nothing happens. The same with the terminal.

All works fine until I set the hook on the optical device for the Host DVD. On a running guest the guest crashes immediately after set...

If you use a live image, than I thing to have to restart a service. But I have to look my self which one.
