The problem with ntpd has been raised by FreeBSD users and waiting for a durable solution advanced users have proposed to use a by-pass consisting of the uninstallation of ntpd and the installation of chrony which is well synchronized in the startup order of OpenRC services. The question is not whe...

Re: Problems trying to install
I've never found Linux to be particularly reliable so wanted to try FreeBSD. Seem to get stalled during the install of GhostBSD during the Configuration Menu. Does Unix have any easy install process like Linux somewhere? Thanks. It wasn't stalled at all. It just asked you for your preferred video d...

What do you think about FuryBSD?

Re: How to read system startup message again?
ntp said it has problem resolving freebsd time server 0.freebsd.pool.ntp.org, after the system successfully boot into MATE, I checked with ps aux and still see ntpd running. The problem is it seemed ntp can't set date time. When I switch between Windows and GhostBSD, GhostBSD's date time doesn't ch...

Re: Can GhostBSD implement some benefits from HardenedBSD?
Things that relate to desktop, could be implemented, but we will need people to help for that to happen. HardenedBSD is mostly about security bits, implement such a thing is out of our ability, so I think we can't do anything here. Unless you're going to build a separate GhostBSD edition based on H...
