Octopkg problems?

It seems that others have succes with using OctoPkg, but for me it doesn't seem to work. See attached screenshot for the output errors. If I click on one of the URL's shown in the screenshot, Firefox opens with more or less the same error: "The requested URL /GhostBSD-11/amd64/test/meta.txz: was not...

Re: How/where to set global environment variables?

Seems to work for me when I put them in /etc/profile: HTTP_PROXY=blabla; export HTTP_PROXY After I log out any existing user and log in again, the environment variables are accessible in a (fish) shell under Xfce as root or a user root@ghostbsd:~ # echo $HTTP_PROXY blabla root@ghostbsd:~ # su rherma...

Re: Trying to install GhostBSD 11.1 ALPHA1

That is: the installer is running, don't have a working system yet, but couldn't get to this point at all. Well, it is finish...

Re: Trying to install GhostBSD 11.1 ALPHA1

there should be an install log file available in /tmp (and moved to /root upon install completation). The system is now running GhostBSD 10.3. I will try again to install 11.1 and see if there is a log; post it here if there is. Depending on the failure phase, you sould find the install log in /tmp...

Hi and welcome to GhostBSD! How about trying - "UFS Full Disk" and then instead of grub use - "FreeBSD bootloader" does this work? . No, none of the options work. Did not try ZFS. When I installed GhostBSD 11.1 I used ZFS Full Disk and "Grub" and there was no problem.. It wasn't for me either as I ...
