Re: GhostBSD 11.1 RC1 first step [SOLVED]
follow up:
i had a little chat with ericbsd, and it turned out that the scroll mismanagement is caused by moused service, we also discussed shortly about the needs about moused, and it is required by at least some type of trackpads (but not all), e.g. "synaptics" trackpad require moused.

hmm ... so you have this issue, and I don't.ericbsd wrote:Yeah, it is an issue that has been on for over a year now. I have no idea what is causing that.
One thing to look at: I have disabled moused service in my rc.conf, try the same and see it if help.

Re: GhostBSD 11.1 RC1 first step [SOLVED]
hi and welcome!
How do you "go back" ? scrolling back an forth work for me, using PgUp/PgDown, arrow keys, and/or mouse wheel ...If I scroll down the list all goes well. And If I go back to the beginning (scroll up) the page changes back to the starting screen of Firefox.

Re: 11.1 RC1 XFCE installation image problems
I found the problem with the BIOS computer, the Acer. I thought "removable" in the boot menu meant USB, but no, the USB is a hard disk and thus found under "harddisk" in the boot menu... Succesfully installed on the Acer. Good! :) On the other one (Lenovo 50-55) I tried to boot again and get the er...

Re: 11.1 RC1 XFCE installation image problems
Things start to clarify themselves because it appears we are looking at differences between 11.0-alpha and 11.1-rc1; what changed between the two ? about the boot, we implemented a (temporary) workaround to a bug which was affecting xorriso (a tool we use to build our ISO hybrid images); the xorriso...

Re: 11.1 RC1 XFCE installation image problems
Hi, and thanks for testing 11.1rc1. First, on a BIOS machine the stick does not boot at all, the computer sees it as nonbootable Can you please detail which hw is that ? Maker/model ? Because booting on BIOS HW worked for me, both from USB and from DVD, so there must be something specific to your ha...

Re: 11.1 RC1 Link is Wrong
Was it necessary to remove all i386 previous builds except to save on hosting costs? The hosting costs aren't the main issue, the problem is more about "time", build time, testing time ... Previous builds (versions up to 10.3) are still there and they will remain I guess ... I see no reason to remo...
