Re: Very stupid bug (another one)

......BSD based systems usually shut down simply and faultlessly by pressing on/off switch once and letting BSD shut down in due course;).............it's what I do.

Unable to Shut Down etc. After Upgrade

The title says it.....I up graded, all went well until shutdown, restart and so on but just returned to login screen. shut down requires a hard shut down.

Re: too much troubles with ghostBSD

I use the American keyboard so that is one problem I may have just not realized was there.........otherwise GhostBSD runs well and
the install process was reasonable......in fact it is very good.

Re: Thanks For Being Awesome

Ghost is really great. I could never become comfortable with BSD until Ghost came along.......so I agree with what you are saying!

Updates not Updating

I get an 'updates available' notice and after I effect the update in update station it apparently fails to update. It goes through the update process and I am asked to reboot.

Shortly after reboot the notice arrives again.

Re: Background/wallpaper doesn't show at Login

When I get to 'lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf' I can see that "Tidepool Sunset" is set as the background but it just doesn't show......we only get a black, colourless background....and the login bracket.
