Can the SSD be setup as per that wonkity link via the live disc installer?

Regarding this - where people were seeing the failure during install, were they able to successfully install later, or just give up?

I've tried multiple times and I've selected pretty much all the available options for the filesystem. UFS and variants, ZFS, 4k block.

Was thinking of blanking the drive with a utility like disckill and trying again.

I was concerned this might be HW related (as I've bought a new SSD and it is the first time I've tried one...)

The installer is failing part way through (but not always at same point). I'm not writing the USB stick from Linux or a BSD though, I'm creating it from Windows. unetbootin created an invalid image, and Win 32 Disk Image wants a .img file, not an ISO

Where is the USB .img file available for download? I have the ISO from the download page, but am unable to burn a disc.
