Gnote Won't Open File
This evening, I found that I could not open any Gnote file. This seems to have begun after the last large update, which per the date on the last use of this program, after July 7. The overall program window listing the various note files opens, but none of them will. This does not change whether I o...

Re: RAM
I actually taught OSX at a local technical college for a while, and did some digging into mach kernels and bsd stacks. I agree with you that OSX is not all it's cracked up to be; my favorite flavor was OSX 10.4 on an old Power Mac. Without iTunes, I really have no reason to run Macs any more. I have...

Re: Basic Question: What Version of GhostBSD Am I Running?
Thanks, but that command still only gives the FreeBSD version, not the GhostBSD version.

Basic Question: What Version of GhostBSD Am I Running?
I just did a major update, and do not know if what I now have is Ghost 19 or 20. Neither the sysadmin nor the System Monitor applications will tell me. They only give me the version of FreeBSD underlying Ghost, which is 12.1-stable. The System/Help link only shows MATE information. The system is run...

Re: Very stupid bug (another one)
I have the same shutdown problem; the MATE shutdown buttons on the panel no longer work after my last upgrade. I'm running Ghost 19.04 on an ASUS F1A75-M mobo (AMD) with BIOS version 0304, and nVidia graphics. Clicking on "shut down" only logs off, and the shutdown button on the login scre...

No Printer Drivers for CUPS Available in 19.04
When I try to add a printer (HP 2420DN) through either System/Administration/Print Settings or CUPS, it finds the printer,
but can't find any printer drivers. I tried getting on Telegram, but to no avail. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Bug
or feature? Thx in advance.

Re: Problem trying to install ghostbsd on SSD disk !!
I have Ghost installed on a generic 120GB SSD with ZFS. I had some problems with the original motherboard, I believe with the chip set. I'm now running an ASUS F1A75-M PRO/CSM with an AMD A8-3870 processor and 6GB of DDR3 RAM, and it installed easily with ZFS and runs fine. I"m also using a IOG...
