Login Sounds

Eric et al! :) Hey, I installed GhostBSD on my Mac and had a ball. Really good new release. I don't remember exactly what happened (sorry) but I tried twice and updating the system both time rendered the system unusable. Sorry I didn't follow through with that, kinda an odd situation being on a Macb...

Re: Thanks For Being Awesome

I also want to create a distro of FreeBSD that runs well on older Macs. I'm running it on my MacBook Pro 8,1 right now and have almost everything working but internal ...

Open Source AI

I am under an oath of poverty and am a musician but computers are my hobby. I have wondered why nobody's working on an Open Source AI? I had the thought a while ago but I just realized, with Bill Gates just dumping a billion dollars into AI, the idea could be worth 1000's. I don't want to start up a...

Re: Conky and Ghost

The part that is tricky is this one: ## https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2070788 background yes own_window yes own_window_type panel own_window_transparent yes own_window_argb_visual yes If you comment all that out, it won't try to divide your desktop and is easier to run. I would start the...
