Re: Conky and Ghost

The part that is tricky is this one: ## https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2070788 background yes own_window yes own_window_type panel own_window_transparent yes own_window_argb_visual yes If you comment all that out, it won't try to divide your desktop and is easier to run. I would start the...

Re: Conky and Ghost

Here's my latest. This one runs in it's own space on the right and your apps will maximize w/o covering it. # conky configuration # # The list of variables has been removed from this file in favour # of keeping the documentation more maintainable. # Check http://conky.sf.net for an up-to-date-list. ...

Re: Small Gripe

No big deal. I'm not really mad, I'm just bummed I had to shift away from Ghost as my primary OS. I should probably have a dedicated machine but I just don't have the money. My vision as a contributor (and one time partner or something) in the team is to have a Mac like OS, running the Unix kernel l...

Small Gripe

Hey, all. I had to switch back to windows. I had a ball in Ghost 10.3 but after receiving no replies to all five of my posts here, when I had an issue with wlan buffers and couldn't connect anymore and couldn't find it anywhere on the web in a Linux Temp FS I just didn't have the patience to try one...

Some Desktop Backgrounds

Hi, I was with the project in the early days and do desktop backgrounds and login sounds. Here's a desktop I like (here's a preview and a link below to the HD file): http://ward.byethost9.com/images/PreviewGhostBSDDripping.3800x1800.png https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/eg8LN4PLul09fLaIh4UInVjh1G5Xj...

Touchpad on HP Elitebook 8460p

Hi, all, Hey, my system is running great and I'm now 100% GhostBSD 10.3. However, the silly mousepad is driving me crazy. Constantly when I use the keyboard I get mouse clicks from the pad, plus it's super slow, rendering it mostly useless. Is there a xorg.conf for a similar machine out there? I ins...
