https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/brightness-function-keys-issue.60580/ This worked :D . I used the information at https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=acpi_ibm&sektion=4&manpath=freebsd-release-ports in the EXAMPLES section to make the brightness keys work. And now it works perfectly!

The brightness keys don't work but doing "sysctl dev.api_ibm.0.lcd_brightness=0" or any other number works.
