Re: Port USB 3.0 from the DragonflyBSD Project
I think many who had visited, here, contributed to GhostBSD. If my request is not a good suggestion, at this time, I rather that be stated. I did not imply that GhostBSD would somehow be handicapped without me. All projects and distros move forward, nevertheless. I mentioned that I thought I made so...

Port USB 3.0 from the DragonflyBSD Project
These are modern times, and I think this would be a welcome edition to the features of GhostBSD, sometime in the future.

Re: Runit as an official init system for GhostBSD
Crappy? This response surprised me. I know I shot myself in the ankle with the request for OpenRC. I ought to have never mentioned OpenRC, because, now, my true request will be forever overlooked. I had just came from a few sites that raved about it. In the past, I believed I have suggested some of ...

Re: GhostBSD and OpenRC
In terms of reliability and data integrity, SSDs are difficult to trust. Their controllers leave much to be desired. They get slower over time. Re: User friendliness
My mistake. I didn't mention the laptop with the network issues ... the Dell Latitude E6410. I should have known, because Dell was, predominantly, Unix hostile throughout my experience. Recently, I even watched a video of how Ubuntu froze on a modern Dell and required a reboot. This was a stock Ubun...

Modern Grub2 boot loader only available on ZFS?
That was disappointing to hear. Is the reason is because it was compiled only on ZFS? UFS is more desktop practical.

Runit
Thank You, that was an interesting read, indeed. Following the footsteps of PC-BSD would be the wrong move. I, really, prefer Runit. I agree, stability is paramount.
