Thanks! I gave up on it though, reinitialized the drive with an MBR partition scheme and set the computer to legacy boot, and of course it works fine now.

Can't install 4.0 Alpha 2 on UEFI laptop
Hi, I made a bootable AMD64 GhostBSD 4.0 USB key, and was able to boot my laptop (Dell Latitude E6330, UEFI) with it. I used the graphical installer, and got several errors along the lines of "Cannot mount volume. Error org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.UnknownError", but it seems to install fine...
