Re: No sound on Dell Inspiron

I even found a 'root on zfs' howto but did not try yet. I think I will retry GHostBSD once wifi AC/AX will be well supported but for now I go with linu...

Re: Atheros QC6174 801.2ac
Well, well, I installed GhostBSD and I'm writing from it :) But my search for smooth Wifi is not over. Right now I use an (old) stick with AR9170 chipset so I'm stuck with wifi g. What should I buy to get decent Wifi N since Wifi AC or AX seems not for today ? But I need a little help for configurat...

Hello, I just tried the latest GhostBSD live on my Dell laptop Inspiron 13-5378. I want to switch from W10 to GhostBSD. Re: cant install with laptop screen
Hi,
Ok I miss to give some informations. It was just the last stable version.
I was trying to install GhostBSD3.5-mate-amd64.
I played around with xorg conf without luck so far.
So the system is installed but unusable without additional mouse and keyboard and overheat around the corner.

Re: cant install with laptop screen
Well, I cant let it closed or it will overheat and cant let it open or I have no screen at all.
The laptop is a latitude e6400.
And I loose all consoles (alt F1-F5) as soon as it starts xorg.
What should I do ?

cant install with laptop screen
Hi, I'm installing GhostBSD on a Dell Laptop with nvidia IGP. But all I get after booting to X is a blank screen. I found a workaround connecting the laptop to a external screen a keeping it closed. So I had to connect extra mouse and keyboard too. And so obviously it's a resolution problem and not ...
