ugen means a usb generic device which doesn't really mean it's supported. FreeBSD works differently in regards to devices being supported. HOwever you may be able to connect to ugen4.3 using cu.

Please do not get unhappy when FreeBSD doesn't work well. I have a Legion Y545 and it doesn't support all the things ;/

This is a constant issue with newer laptops and conflicts with ACPI, I suggest you try a vanilla freebsd current or be stuck like me with my Lenovo Lengion Y545 which fails to detect wifi card.

Rule: dont install BSD on newer HW it is rather slow to get things working.

So, my questions are 1. What about geli encryption? Is it as strong as luks 2 with boot encrypted? Does it support ssd trim or is it safe for ssd? Yes it uses AES, works fine with an SSD and yes trim is supported. 2. I've qemu/KVM Pfsense -> some linux and windows machines Pfsense->whonix gateway->w...
