Re: Ghostbsd can't boot from usb stick

Hi all, I wanted to reimage my HP Book with Nvidia gpu with the ghost 24.01 is and run into the same issue as you and ended with screen error on the text console. Here installed the Nvidia 535 driver manually and did a kldload for it and run startx and the ghostbsd live gui has started up now with s...

Re: Extending disk space under a VM

Hi Ken, assuming the ghostbsd vmclient is using ZFS as FileSystem, then you give it a try with: zpool set .... usage: set <property=value> <pool> the following properties are supported: .. autoexpand YES on | off eg zpool set autoexpand=on <yourpoolname> this should grow your pool to the new disk si...

Re: After update, boots to terminal

Hi, please have a look to this article and verify if you have the same error message: https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/nvidia-incompatible-abi.86096/ you can give the "workaround" a try, as your X is already not starting, so it cannot be more worse, but you have to verify hich xorg.conf ...

Re: imac and Nvidia no Virtual Terminals

Hi jonsoons,
is this the initial install of have you run an update of ghostbsd? When you run an update you should have a former BE (BootEnvironment) and can step back to lock at the changes.
run bectl list and you may see an alternative BE to boot from.

Re: NO MOUSE when running VM on TrueNAS 12 Core..

Hi dhenzler, regarding your mouse issue I found in my notes an entry for elder version of FreeBSd, but maybe you give it a try: ##execute kldload ums ##So, it seems, starting from 12-RELEASE, this kernel module is not in GENERIC kernel anymore ##So, if someone also have this issue, add ums_load=&quo...
