If anarcotux can see all those connection I don't think it is a drivers issue. anarcotux can you change the encryption of you wifi box? I am agree, I think is something on his/her wifi AP or router. Hi, how can I remove the blank screensaver on GhostBSD 3.1 lxde??? after a few minutes of inactivity it start's the blank screensaver and I can't find a setting to disable it, for example the power management settings. PS : I installed GhostBSD on a very old desktop computer and it works a treat! :)...

I see that after the welcome screen similar to that of FreeBSD , but before the complete loading of GhostBSD , there is a line that says something like "ifconfig: interface wlan0 does not exist". I tried the wpa_suppliant.conf only with the ssid and psk but doesn't work... this is my outpu...

I tied with and without the hostname line... Always the same problem... GhostBSD connect's to other not connected wifi networks... not mine!!!

should i post the hostname line at the end of file in /etc/rc.conf ??? hostname="ATBSD-Netbook" now I try to modify the rc.conf file!!! thanx for the help ^^ I had to format for too many experiments... after pasting the changes to rc.conf, there are always the same problems ... :cry: :cry:...

That is not a drivers issue for sure. You might look at http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/network-wireless.html. yess surely is not a driver issue... yesterday i try to install the new beta version of GhostBSD, I install the 3.5 version XFCE4, and my wireless card doesn't work... in ghostbsd 3.5 ...
