I do it but I have this error message:

Don't worry Eric, this old laptop go to plain FreeBSD

Hi Eric thanks but on this laptop GhostBSD 4 don't work. I have used one DVD and one usb key but I cannot use X as a user. I can modify /etc/X11/xorg.conf but X start only as root. If I log as a user (ghostbsd) X don't start and the message is: Failed to executa the process "usr/local/bin/startx" ex...

Eric I can confirm the problem. I'm using a Dell Latitude C640 laptop and the server X don't start. I use Ctrl+Alt+F2 and I login as user "root" and I press Enter. There is no password here. Hrllo Eric and hello to the forum.
Is possible to know the user password and the root password of the 4.0 version?
This can help to resolve the “fatal error: no screen found” on some hardware.
Also is possible to use the vesa driver by default in the new iso 's?
