I've got a weird one, Eric! I installed GBSD 3.1 in VBox on my new ASUS laptop to test it for my old Dell D600! Running the "bxpkg", it states that I should update the "bxpkg URL"! What is the new URL! Any help would be appreciated!!

Spell Check & Dictionary
First, let me say, I am impressed with GhostBSD! I used it for a while a while back while I was in between Primary Computers! Well, I am now back in that situation and working with v3.5 Openbox! My one problem is that running anything from Firefox to Abiword, the dictionaries and spell check are in ...

Startx in BSD
I know I am a hopeless "Noob", but I like GBSD a lot and want to tweak it my way! I have installed "BlackBox" and a couple of daughter files! I want this to come up as WM when I type " startx "! All the "docs" I have read state that you have to tweak your &quo...

How do I auto-mount my CD player
Hey All
I hate sounding like a complete "Newbie", but how do I go about doing an auto-mount of CD player on my old laptop? I am definitely new to any flavor of BSD! I would like it to be mounted right after boot! Thanks for any information!!

Re: Where are the Openbox files?
Again, Eric, Thank you!
I found all the files I wanted! Now after a bit of tweaking and learning more about XML, maybe I'll upload some screenshots and share!
Thanks

Where are the Openbox files?
Ok guys A question! Where are the OpenBox files found? I'm ready to do some "tweaking", but I can't find them! Also, I have some marvelous WPs that I want to use and I need to know where to put them! Remember, I'm a "newbie" and on this subject, right now, I am at sea, with a hol...

Re: Is there a way to get GBSD w/ BlackBox
Thanks all, especially Eric!
I will give your suggestions a ride! If it works, I will post the results!
And although OpenBox is a lot like BlackBox, for me, it is too hard to configure! When it comes to OpenBox, I am CLUELESS! Sorry!

Is there a way to get GBSD w/ BlackBox
I have tried different distros of BSD, Linux, and even Windows using a variation of the BlackBox WM ! I love it, it does what it's supposed to and it's easy to configure your desktop the way YOU like it! I am not a programmer and know almost nothing about XML, so it makes it hard for me to really ge...
