Hello there guys. Thanks so much for the community for keeping these forums.
I am freshly new to BSD overall. Linux and Windows since the year 2000 but first time trying BSD.
Now days, I enjoy making system tools, automation, custom compilers, and things that make my day to day life easier.
I am going to port all of linux apps into ghostBSD with KDE, MATTE and XFCE native support. I want everything working nativelly.
This is an example of a system tool I made for Arch and Cachy OS that I use prettymuch every day:
XetalEngine/CachyOsTools
It has many features, including building an installable ISO of your current system and much much more.
I dont know what the BSD community's culture is like yet. Are these types of projects welcome by the community? If so, I will leave everything open source. I am going to port my FULL kvm setup so we can play valorant in a VM, etc (fully undetected) for myself.
But I am willing to share.
Are these types of contributions welcome by the community? or should I keep everything to myself?
Also on my ECHO app, the member's list will show the user's operating system's icon. I made BSD icon big and special to fit the whole little devil (visible in picture 2).
Anyways guys. Thanks for the forums, and I look forward to building tools. I will make drivers for anything I find that doesnt work on all the hardware I have available.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
