I recently installed and tested ghostbsd, and honestly, it was beautiful. It wasn't complicated at all, and it performed much better than I initially expected. Apart from two specific technical issues, I couldn't find a single flaw it actually felt way more stable than it needed to be! To give you some context on my platform, I ran the test on a hybrid laptop with an Intel i7-12650H (Alder Lake), a KIOXIA Exceria Plus G3 NVMe SSD, and an NVIDIA RTX 4060 Mobile GPU. Here are the two issues I encountered: 1. UEFI Boot Option Loss After Reboot / Hard ResetEvery time I rebooted the system or force-shut it down using the hardware power button, the BIOS triggered an error on the next boot saying no bootable device was found. However, when I hit "OK" or entered the manual boot selection menu, GhostBSD was right there. Once I hit enter on it, it booted up perfectly. It seems the EFI bootloader fails to persist automatically in the NVRAM boot order after hard resets or quick reboots on this modern Intel/NVMe setup. 2. 125% Fractional Scaling Screen CorruptionWhen I set the display scaling to 125%, the screen output broke immediately. The bottom half of the monitor went completely black, and the actual desktop workspace got squished and rendered only on the upper portion of the screen. This looks like a viewport rendering bug in XLibre when handling fractional scaling on a hybrid graphics pipeline (Intel uhd + nvidia). Other than these two quirks, the system felt amazingly rock solid. Thank you for all the effort you put into this project to make bsd so accessible on the desktop
