Hi, I've just installed GhostBSD on a desktop PC with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU. When I try to install and enable the NVIDIA drivers (via Software Station), the system boots into a black screen.
I had to manually remove the driver and clean kld_list via terminal to get the GUI back (using generic drivers). How can I properly install and configure the proprietary NVIDIA driver for this GPU on GhostBSD without breaking the X server?
Is it better to switch from MATE/Wayland to XFCE/Xorg to make the NVIDIA driver work?
