Unable to get past startx segmentation fault, signal 11, GhostBSD in VM? Google is kinda useless, a lot of conflicting, apparently misleading or dated information?

-I have tried booting in single user mode
-Tried running xconfig setup and forcing use of scfb driver.

VM is UFI based, Q35 chipset, boots fine. I get the GhostBSD boot screen... only to have startx fault. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thx.

Need more information, which hypervisor/emulator and which GPU is emulated?

After boot-up, screen is blank, try Cntrl + Alt + F3 (or F2-7). That should bring up a terminal login prompt. Login with username and password, then in the terminal enter startx and let us know if that works. It should bring up your desktop, and from there you can check settings that may explain the problem.

ALSO, do not boot into single-user mode. It isn't what we might assume it is. Just let it boot up without the single-user setting.

SIG11 points to a driver issue, that's why I wanted to know the used GPU.
