I hope I'm not fanning any old cinders by asking, but with all the other discussions about portability and such, how does NomadBSD do it? Can it be done on GhostBSD as well?
I'm asking because I have spent two whole days trying to get dd to actually do something besides tell me it transferred xxxxxxxxxxx bits of data from /downloads/xxx.iso to /dev/da0, but when I reboot into the USB I just made using dd, it fails.
How is a BE made bootable and then written to a USB stick so that it stays bootable?
