A great update! Using the Xfce version. The latest update to the new version enabled me to access the other HDD (which had Devuan Linux on it) and recover some lost files. It fixed a minor sound issue, detected all the hardware, and accepted my "unusual" method of adding a printer using HPLIP instead of the normal browser method. All very very good!
Launching applications (Evolution, Waterfox), however, takes longer than before, perhaps a minor hiccup left over from the Xorg + Xlibre mixture. That's just speculation. I'd love to go "full XLibre" and dump Xorg, but I think it would break something.
I looked around the Software Station for "preload" and "speed" and "optimization" tools but found nothing useful in Name or Description to match. It's hardly a deal breaker, I'm never in a hurry; but I can't brag anymore about how much faster Ghost is (used to be) than Linux.
Thank you for a great fully featured OS. Best release so far!
