Just upgraded my GhostBSD Mate system, but it does not connect to the internet automatically,
I pressed restart networking but nothing happens
I shut down and restarted the laptop, but still no wireless internet connection

Of course, one can have network access via an Ethernet cable,
but the problem is top priority,
because a wireless connection is an absolute MUST, nowadays...

ninos Which wireless device do you have? If you have a recent Realtek card, chances are that FreeBSD 15.0 is to blame. I have a RTL8851BE that worked flawlessly on GhostBSD/FreeBSD14.3, but the new kernel totally broke it and I have to use wifibox to have a wireless connection. If this is the case, there's nothing that @ericbsd could do, FreeBSD 15.0 has made a mess with the rtw89 driver and a fix is expected to be applied on FreeBSD 15.1 to be released this summer.

I connected my Lenovo X240 via an Ethernet cable,
I ran the command sudo pkg install GhostBSD-firmware-iwm,
rebooted and...
PROBLEM SOLVED!
