LizziAS You are not the only one saying this. An April Fool's Day could become a reality. That said, not something like OpenClaw that would be too dangerous. With the new installer, I could see an opt-in and have the package installed.

The Casper Idea is not something new. I had the idea to build a voice assistant 8 years ago. See ericbsd/casper-assistant. Not much has been done because as soon as I shared the idea, I got some negative feedback.

By the way, I use Claude Code on GhostBSD.

Even if April fools joke, it would actually be useful to have a private AI tool with feature to turn on/off. Some linux distributions have started allowing this.

I'd prefer a privacy focused internal/offline AI tool (with option to search web), rather than ChatGPT which shares all your private info.

I'm sure there will be conflicting views, which is where the option to turn on/off would allow choice + privacy focused would be huge bonus instead of relying on commercial tools.
