I'm running on a 3 week old installation of the Xlibre ISO so I might be seeing something from a testing repo. I'm tempted to try it and see what happens.

ericbsd It seems so, but that it just what was set by default after the install.

Yes, that is the testing repository. Update Station is not ready for that yet. I am testing Upgrades with the new code that is in this PR ghostbsd/update-station71. I am also making some minor changes and improvements based on what I see that is not correct.

I wish I could claim to be brave, but since I wanted to try Xlibre it meant getting an ISO that apparently was set to use Testing. I'm new to BSD and new to MATE so why not throw another challenge into the mix? 🙂

As it turns out i am also using a testing iso that is set to testing repos that i installed and am using daily.

Host: HP EliteDesk 705 G5 Desktop Mini
Kernel: FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE-p2

Seems quite stable to me. I'm not sure i would know how to switch to stable repos or when might be a good time to do that... as i am not encountering any issues with it i seem happy enough. I installed the xfce iso and then installed mate and made that the distro officially by removing all the xfce stuff and de-priorotizing the ghostbsd xfce meta packages and priortizing the ghost bsd mate meta ones. Very Pleased!
