How will the update to the GhostBSD version based on FreeBSD 15 be handled?

Maybe it's too early to ask this. But I'm curious. 🙂 Will it be handled by the update station? Will there be a steplist to follow? Will it be necessary to reinstall from scratch?

No, but to update properly, you will need to ensure you are on the latest version of Update Station.

No, but if your installation is Xorg, you will stay on Xorg. We do not touch packages installed on the system unless dependencies change.

Upgrades happen "automagically" in the regular update process (Update Station). It's very cool!

Thanks! That's very cool. I want to install GhostBSD again, after a brief jump on linux cachyos. My indecision was: install now or wait for the R15 based version?

For the xlibe switch, i guess that I'll have to try again. The last time I wasn't able to make It work on my old Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU. But there's already a thread about that. 😄
