Elementary Icons gone after last update

Hi there,
did the latest update and now a lot of icons changed their look for the worse or have no icon visible at all.
Only Quogir- or some KDE Breeze is left.
OK, after some search, was able to get back "elementary xfce" theme via software station.
As all icons in there were broken, too, had to dig for some description and hopefully these icons will return, too.
Or are we now moving towards KDE desktop-style now, getting it difficult for Xfce desktop?
2nd amendment: it was vivacious colors, not elementary theme, the latter I took, cause the first one diasappeared completely.
I may try to find the packages via ports. Maybe that works...

guess, found the best mix so far, taking the elementary-xfce (hidp)-collection and added some picture-icons from the net and ... looks really good now. :-)

I use the whimsical gartoon icon set. It's fun and nice looking! Just for giggles, try it out. It's in Software Station.

We should probably have a screenshot section in the forums... but link the screenshots to Imgur or Pixabay so it doesn't become a burden to the server.

@hank2121 xfce-icons-elementary is there, but it might have been removed. There is no CI to ensure it is built.

ericbsd hi, sorry for my late response! week was a horrible workload again, so missed this.
well, it was the "vivacious-colors"-theme I meant, that s really gone it seems. But I switched to "elementary" and added some "picture icons" manually for the apps, I couldn t find a satiesfying icon for.
I could also manually add the "vivacious"-theme, but I avoided the efforts, just for a few icons to get back... ;-)
But it helped again for a deeper understanding, how to work with desktop settings anyway, so playing around was fun.
