Choose France Mirror

I live in Denmark and would like to choose France Mirror instead of Canada. How do I do that?

The default is pkg.ghostbsd.org and points to Storj. With StorJ, our upload should be similar everywhere. Also, Storj splits all packages into pieces, encrypts them, and sends them worldwide.

If you want to use the French server, do this:

sudo cp /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/GhostBSD.conf.fr /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/GhostBSD.conf

I'm not sure which is the best practice...to update /etc/pkg/GhostBSD.conf or /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/GhostBSD.conf.

vimanuelt best practice is to not touch /etc/pkg.

I created this app today to help others easily switch their mirror (package repository mirror).

It would be nice if it came as standard on the next release of ISO. It would make things a little easier

Snubbi We'd have to give it a fitting name (e.g. Repo Station) and Eric would need to approve it.
If he likes it, it would likely go under into the GhostBSD github collection.
