This is how FOSS should be. Just make something available.
Gnome, Red Hat, KDE and the rest of the Corpo shills along with Petridish and the like take the opposite approach: Their idea of "promotion" is to kill all the alternatives. I like to think Petridish and the rest are again losing their minds.
Phoenix doesn't seem to have as many contributors as XLibre, but 30 is a respectable number, especially given the LibXML2 debacle.
More choices = good.
