Appreciating What GhostBSD Does

I just wanted to make a forum post to let people know just how much GhostBSD actually automates in terms of setup and installation

I tried just installing regular freeBSD and while most of it is not that hard the one thing i could not get working was the log in screen it just would not do the command to automatically start the display

GhostBSD installer does all this pretty much for the users more than you realize until you've tried to install regular freeBSD

So just wanted to say thanks for making ghostBSD and an installer that makes the entire process less of a nightmare to get working

I'm still learning the BSD way of doing things but it's been a good test and ghostBSD has helped a ton

So, Glad to have your thoughts posted here for others to read and learn from your observations. Yes, GhostBSD.org/download is the 15-25 minute install and boot a BSD Desktop. MATE or XFCE or future Gershwin desktop. Robonuggie has a Raspberry Pi 400 video showing how to install KDE Plasma desktop www.youtube.com/c/robonuggie Cinnamon Desktop might be a future possibility.
