nevillehay Hi Neville. Well, sometimes I m just too impatient to try alternatives, but mainly I prefer to stick with methods, that worked well for so long... ;-)
That s one reason, why I prefer to do backups on DVD/CD and USB discs as well as still watching VHS videos. That technology (despite some flaws, when using cassettes not so often, picture starts "flattering") still works after almost 50ys, since comin on to markets ... unbelievable!
That. together with a computer system, that combines a good desktop with stability of system and programs, these are things, I really like, cause they give me much less headaches, than other "things"...
I m now 98% on GhostBSD and 2% on Linux Mint, just for the reason, that I m too lazy to start from scratch with my Hercules simulation of a s/370 Mainframe system to play around with. ;-)
