Random Audio buffering events (XFCE)

When using my capture device in obs and displaying it's contents on the second monitor i'm having random buffer events that make the sound buzz and display act weird for like a split second
sound card is conexant cx20632

I've tried setting the latency to 0 and it still does it

There's this. Also there's a noise suppression setting in obs. You can try toggling that

nevillehay Decided to run a test to see if it was just OBS and no it's a system level issue
basically the sound glitches and the display freezes up for a split second

Are you using an older dual-core computer? I ask as I often see issues with cpu or mem or I/O contraints on older computers.
