My GhostBSD setup

I am very impressed with ghostBSD it literally has everything including intel gpu encoding for both legacy and modern cpus which i was surprised to see
I'm also surprised it's able to notice that my sound card is a conexant like it knows the model and everything which is pretty cool to see
Wifi was not an issue worked right out of the box (Though at first i did have to reset networkmgr after enabling wifi to get it to detect my wifi connection)

This is by far the coolest BSD experience one could hope for

If anyone else wants to share their setup as well i used fastfetch i recommend just copy pasting the text over uploading screenshots (probably eats up less forum storage space)
make sure you remove your ip address which fastfetch will display
if you want to show the screenshot you can use gimp to paint over the ip address numbers

This is my favorite PC for programming and web design. It originally came with Ubuntu but I am sad to say that DELL no longer cares about testing their BIOS updates so Linux doesn't run as it used to. GhostBSD, on the other hand, is flawless. 🙂

How do you like the Mate version?
I live-booted it once but Mate is not my thing. 🙂

zephyrus once you customize it it's not so bad the brisk menu makes it more xfce whisker menu like
the only issue i had was compositing i just used picom to get around that

the only real issue i'm having on ghost bsd is usb capture device audio buffering that causes the display to act weird for a few seconds as well
