I'm trying to get Dual Boot with my "not able to upgrade" Windows 10 System running. I've already set up a fresh Windows system.
While Installing Ghostbsd I wanted to use UFS instead of ZFS for my GhostBSD installation, because I don't need the features and I've already have limited space.
But when I click "Custom configiuration" in the installation gui, and create a UFS partition and a Swap space in the remaining space I can't go further. Next is greyed out without telling me why. The newly created partitions didn't have a mountpath, so I assumed this was the error.
So I created the partition by hand, mounted it in /mnt/ and the efi table in /mnt/boot/efi and then I tried again, but the installer just doesn't let me continue.
Can I just do the installation without the gui, with the partition I have in mind, then install GhostBSD in the EFI table and Grub? Or is there a way to tell the installation before (with some kind of global variable) where I want Ghostbsd installed.
Here is my ada1 setup:
ada1p1 EFI
ada1p2 Windows
ada1p3 (some more Windows stuff)
ada1p4 (even more Windows stuff)
ada1p5 -> UFS I created and mounted for Ghostbsd
ada1p6 -> Swap
I would really like to get that setup going. I only need Windows to play games, but I still need it. Ghostbsd is meant for working and having a up to date system system.
