can anyone here recommend a good tile editor ?.

I have looked at at the package manger for GBSD (pkg search tiled)
but got no hits in the repos, so does anyone here know of or maybe written a tile editor for making game level / maps ?.
if so where can I get it and how much does it cost to buy ?.

How to get it on GhostBSD

Since pkg from GhostBSD repos doesn’t have it, you have two solid options:

Build from FreeBSD Ports

 sudo git clone https://git.freebsd.org/ports.git /usr/ports
 cd /usr/ports/graphics/tiled
 sudo make install clean

oh so that is what ports are for cool, thanks for the info. kinda like Linux source repos. 🙂
still have a lot to learn about BSD.
