Hello.
I have a Thinkpad X230 laptop which I'd set up to run GhostBSD from a HDD in the laptop's ultrabase dock.
Unfortunately, I have a broken GhostBSD's boot sequence after doing a hard power recycle while trying to install FreeCAD to it, in order to get out of a system freeze during the installation process. Now, when I power on the PC, the boot sequence gets as far as the GhostBSD logo screen, but after that the screen turns black, with a largish white blinking cursor at the top left hand corner of the screen. I try to type commands into the screen but the cursor simply keeps on blinking and no command is entered into the screen.
Please let me know whether there are any suggestions for re-installing GhostBSD without wiping out my documents, or for repairing the broken boot sequence somehow, or rolling back to the point before I broke the system. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
