"Disruption" seems inevitable anyway as software keeps "upping the ante," so to speak. GTK-3 to GTK-4 and all that. I was thinking about playing with LXQt, but trying it out on my old Linux distro was confusing and bewildering. I can only imagine that KDE is even worse, except for big resource consumption.
There is some Qt stuff in "stock" GhostBSD anyway, but I imagine mixing the two complicates things too much.
