Do you use GhostBSD as your primary OS, or alongside another system? Why?

GhostBSD is my primary OS. I keep MX-Linux on a separate HDD, but I honestly haven't even booted into it in two months. I suppose it's got a bunch of updates so I'll boot it up just to maintain it, but I find that GhostBSD is more than enough as my daily desktop driver.

It has been my primary operating system at home for the past seven years or so. However, I also maintain and develop for other operating systems both at home and at work. Once I separated the operating system from my personal data by using one disk for the system and another for my home directory, I stopped worrying about system issues and updates. That separation alone provides a great sense of stability and peace of mind. And yes, I do take backups as well. :-)

GhostBSD is my primary home OS across 2 workstations currently, MacOS is my secondary home OS.
Windows is primary work OS. GhostBSD provides development server/environment at work.

Household is iOS for mobile devices for unified and shared experiences, location sharing, group messaging, Family application and resource sharing, etc...
Partner uses Windows because same as work and MOST large format printing software is Windows based.
Child uses iOS mostly.

While GhostBSD supports MY computing goals/needs each person uses their computing devices differently.

The biggest barriers to wider adoption in my household:

identity management across devices is manual
bluetooth peripheral handling is manual
non-wheel (basic user) user experience is inconsistent
