There are plans. Well GELI and ZFS encryption are identified as backlog items, but have not yet been identified for an upcoming sprint/release.
At present, the discussion seems to be leaning toward ZFS encryption first, prioritizing the ZFS toolset for GhostBSD.
With regard to GELI, a couple members of the community have successfully used the FreeBSD installer to install FreeBSD with GELI, then adopt GhostBSD via buildworld kernel, and swap of repositories to GhostBSD's offering and continuing with GhostBSD. While this is not an official or supported path, it is a testament to the resourceful and creative members in the GhostBSD/FreeBSD community.
