slesa Hi all, I have a problem with Neovim. Everything seems to work fine, but MasonLog reports "current platform not supported" in mason-core/installer/init.lua. Is there a workaround?
slesa Mason itself is fine, there are a few installed... angular, bash, cmake, csharp, elixir, html, ts. But rust, markdown and erlang are missing.
ericbsd I'm sorry for not replying before. I'm not a Neovim Mason user, and I'm not sure how to help.
vimanuelt Would it be beneficial to include Neovim by default? Many recent graduates are more familiar with Neovim than with traditional vi or vim, thanks to its modern features and improved user experience. While this aligns well with current developer workflows, it could be intimidating for newcomers unfamiliar with modal editors. Striking a balance between accessibility and modern tooling isn't easy, but it's worth considering if we aim to support both new and experienced users.
