Tried out Geary for email today and I love it's simplicity! It doesn't seem to have an "Address Book," so I installed gnome-contacts, but I can't get gnome contacts to import the .csv file that was created when I tried to export the Address Book from Thunderbird.
I want to purge all Mozilla stuff and replace it. The browser was easy! But Thunderbird is a whole 'nother story. Evolution (3.44.4) doesn't support SSL or STARTTLS. Geary does, but adding Contacts isn't offered. I suppose I can copy-and-paste from the saved .csv file, but I'd rather have a way to store contacts and make them accessible to Geary.
I'm unfamiliar with most email clients, but a few that I have tried don't support WYSIWYG editors for composing HTML emails (and I rely on that heavily). KMail pulls in a huge stack of KDE stuff I'd rather not clutter up the computer with, Mutt, Claws-mail, and Slypheed don't seem to offer HTML at all, reading or writing. Are there others I should try that don't appear in a Software Station search?
Thanks!
