Lazarus Pascal program compile linker error.

Environment: Lenovo 460 Thinkad. GhostBSD 25.01-R14.2p2.
FPC = 3.2.3 [2025/03/12] for x86_64.
All updates applied. Laz 3.2.8 installed via the 'Software Station'.

Problem:
Compile the default 'Form1' and the compile/build fails with a linker error in Project1.lpr.
The error/s are:
Error: /usr/local/bin/ld.bfd: cannot find -lpthread: No such file or directory
Error: /usr/local/bin/ld.bfd: cannot find -lc: No such file or directory

I have read in the Laz forums of 'pthread' versus 'pthreads' on FreeBSD but it appears rather ancient and confusing.

Any brilliant ideas, suggestions, solutions, etc?

GhostBSD no longer comes with development tools preinstalled. To enable the capability to compile code and ports, install the GhostBSD*-dev packages. These packages include essential build tools, compilers, and libraries necessary for software development. Use the following command to install them: sudo pkg install -g 'GhostBSD*-dev'

I updated the script since my last post. The script will install missing apps besides just report.

Installed GIT.
Installed and executed your script, output looked good.
Started Lazarus, compiled project, NO linker error!!!!!
Modified lazarus form, compiled, code executed.
