Trying to fix video tearing and update video driver

I've installed GBSD on an old Dell Inspiron 1420 and notice some video tearing. What steps would I need to fix this?

Also how would I find a legacy driver for this machine?

The Dell Inspiron 1420 comes in two configurations: one with an NVIDIA GPU and one with integrated Intel graphics. Which one do you have?

My wifi shows not enabled so I'll have to switch from one computer to another.
