I've found out about this distro recently and am very much interested, though unfortunately it seems like the keyboard of my ASUS TUF FA617NS is simply unresponsive (besides this, the live usb also seems to fail to boot into the X session, instead failing with the error "cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify busIDs"). Unfortunately i do not have an extra usb keyboard but looking at the bsd-hardware.info database, they seem to work well enough (see here).
Note that this specific model has also had the same issue on linux, but has been fixed since kernel version 6.5 and above. I'm unsure how comparable the handling of peripherals of linux and BSD are but it may be a useful resource.
Do let me know if there are better places to address this issue, the lack of input also occurs with FreeBSD itself so it may or may not be beyond the scope of this project.
