caja - no network-shares

Hey there,
after a fresh install of 25.01-R14.2p1 I can't see any network-share from other machines in caja...
Is there anything missing that I have to install manually?

Normally there must be shares from 2 other devices...
I can access these shares with caja on ubuntu mate and I was able to access these on the old installation of ghostbsd 24.10 but no longer with the new caja/ghostbsd.

In the announcement of the new release under Improvements & Features one bullet point was:

Replaced automount in ghostbsd-utils with UDISKS2 in gvfs for better media handling.

Maybe this is related to your problem. I am using autofs and didn't see any (obvious) changes on my system automounting remote NFS shares.

ipfw is the culprit!
For now, I have deactivated the firewall - i'll have to find out how to configure ipfw...
