Unmounting USB Flash Drives

Big thank you for the support. Version 25 upgrade seems pretty slick.

Since upgrading from 24, removing flash drives through the eject button in Mate is failing, saying not authorized, failure to eject. It doesn't seem to be a base system permissions problem, because the permissions for the device at /media/ mount point look fine, and it is possible to open a terminal and run umount /media/daXXX without having to su / sudo and this does unmount the drive. So the problem seems to be with the file manager?

I tested a clean and old install, and everything works.

I haven't tested XFCE.

Is automount still installed?

If so, that could be the problem.

There are several ways to automount devices on FreeBSD.

I think this issue is a little more involved.... and requires some Ghost configuration changes.
I installed a vanilla Ghost to a fresh HDD from a 10th Dec ISO and the removable media worked as expected - it was unmountable in Mate menu, even though I'd given root it's own password additional to the user.
I then installed this week's ISO to a HDD, giving root it's own password and the media is NOT unmountable in Mate (but is via umount with sudo in TE). The user lacks the privileges that Mate is looking for.
So, it seems that somewhere, Mate / Ghost needs some privileges updated so we can unmount from the Mate menu if we wish run Ghost with root password enabled.
Am I on the right track?
